Welcome Home

When we last checked in, all of the kids from Generation 3 had graduated from Uni and had headed back to Jackson Heights to start out there adult lives. Let's check in on each of them and see how things are going. Let's start off with Dalila...

The Day House

After graduation, Dalila bought a house of her own a few blocks away from the home she grew up in. She invited Aaron over to see her new place. He decided to move in, and soon they were married in a small ceremony at their new home.



There was enough money left over after Aaron moved in for them to live off of for awhile - Dalila didn't want to start working so soon after finishing school. Aaron got a job as a Gas Station Attendant to bring home a few extra dollars. Dalila spent her days talking to her old college friends and just being silly!



Dalila knew it was time to start looking for a job after she discovered she was pregnant. (I wonder how that could have happened??)




She found a job working at the same place Aaron was working, but she didn't start to work until after the baby was born. Soon enough, that time came - and she gave birth to a baby girl. Deana. She was the apple of her daddy's eye! As she grew into a toddler, Aaron worked with her teaching her to walk and talk and helping her to use the potty like a "big kid."



Dalila and Aaron went back to work and left Deana in the capable (?) hands of one of the local nannies. Deana soon grew into a beautiful little girl and started to school. Aaron could not believe she had grown up so fast. Dalila soon had some news to share with the family, she was pregnant again!



This time, pregnancy was a bit more difficult for Dalila - she couldn't get enough to eat and passed out in the floor a few times from exhaustion! It paid off in the end! One night while her sister-in-law was visiting, she went in to labor and delievered not one, but two healthy babies. A boy and girl, Arden and Ardith, joined the family. Everyone celebrated!!



Dalila began to feel unattractive after the birth of the twins. Aaron said it was all in her mind, but she saw everyday how much her body had changed after two pregnancies. She invited her old college friend, Perry Bailey, over to visit. Aaron was still at work and she felt lonely. She felt like he looked at her in a way Aaron hadn't in a long time - she felt like a woman again! Their relationship soon grew into much more! Perry even came by and left gifts for Dalila - she had to move quickly to keep Aaron from finding them.



Dalila and Aaron helped celebrate the twins birthday! She tried to put on a happy face for her family, but inside, she was torn between two men.



The McGee House

Eden and Abel moved into their own home and got married. They celebrated by going out on the town and getting new clothes and new hairstyles.



Abel got a job working in the Science career tract, while Eden worked on her LTW to become a Hall of Famer. They both tried to exercise regularly to stay healthy. Soon, Eden had good news - she was pregnant!



Eden progressed beautifully through her pregnancy, and soon she delivered a healthy baby boy, Anderson. Eden went back to work immediately, not taking any time off after Anderson's birth. Evidently, it was "bring your child to work day" when she went back!!



Here, you can see, Eden got the newest rage - the "magic baby velcro sweatshirt" - worn by all the young mothers in Jackson Heights!!



The Miller House

Brandon moved back to his childhood home with his parents. He started his job search quickly, as he wanted to get things ready for when he and Marlene got married. He found a job in the Natural Sciences and asked Marlene to join him as his wife.



Makeovers were needed all around...



They built on an additon to the house, so they could have a bigger bedroom than the room Brandon had as a child. They needed the extra room for all of the "activity" that took place.



Marlene began to feel like she was coming down with the flu, she often had to take naps on the couch in the middle of the afternoon. One day, after coming home from her job in Show Business, she discovered she wasn't sick - she was pregnant!




Yet another new arrival came to the family when Brandon and Marlene welcomed the arrival of baby Broden Miller!



The Legacy House

Before we get updated, let's take a look at what our Legacy Home has grown into...



Dale moved back home as the heir to the Whitmore Legacy. He and Marjorie soon were married in a lavish ceremony held on the lawn of the Legacy House. Many friends from college and all of Dale's family attended, even Servetta got dressed up!



Not even waiting for all of the wedding guests to leave, Marjorie wanted to start on a family immediately!! Dale couldn't argue with an offer like that! It seems Marjorie needed a special pillow for added support for her neck... The family had to make a few adjustments, Marjorie and Reginald didn't get along when she first moved in. Dale stood up to his father and said he must respect HIS wife and HIS new family.



Marjorie was soon pregnant!! Dale was working hard trying to get a promotion in the Artist carrer tract. Servetta was up to her old tricks, running among and nearly killing Dale. She broke down afterwards. Reginald said he had enough and with the new baby coming, Servetta had to go - she climbed into a taxi to find a life of her own.



Soon their were two new family members and potential heirs to the Legacy. Welcome babies Farrell and Ferrah!



While life went on in the Legacy house, the twins grew into playful toddlers. It was then that Marjorie let the family know she was pregnant again!!



This pregnancy progressed well. Camille and Reginald helped out a lot with the twins, as beaming grandparents!! Marjorie was spooked one night by the ghost of Andrea - she shock sent her into labor. Again, the family welcomed a set of twins...baby girls, Ginger and Grace.



My, what a growing family!!!
