Happy Birthday to All!

Soon came birthday time for the twins...Dale went first, with his siter there to help him
celebrate. Then, Dalila got to blow out the candles on her own cake. She put a lot of thought into her wish before blowing out those candles.

They went out and bought new clothes before heading to school the next day. Dale had grown up to have aspirations of Knowledge - his LTW was to max out all 7 skills. Dalila had grown up to have Pleasure aspirations - her LTW was to become a professional party guest.

The twins worked hard keeping there grades up and studied hard to gain scholarships to Jackson Heights University. Dale did bring home his girlfriend from school, Jessica Coleman. One afternoon, after completing his homework - he shared his first kiss with Jessica. He had hopes she would come to college with him, but her family was limited on funds. She was not sure if she was going to be able to attend or not.

It was soon time to celebrate Eden's birthday. Her mom helped her celebrate, as everyone else in the house was busy studying. She had grown into quite a busy little girl - she loved playing with her new dollhouse she had gotten for her birthday. (Eden's states - Aries - 9,10,6,7,1)

At Bryson's house across town, similar things had been going on. Brandon celebrated his birthday with his family. He had grown to have aspirations of starting his own Family - his LTW is to have 6 grandchildren. (One step at a time, Brandon)

Bryson, Amy, and Brandon were woke in the middle of the night when their security alarm went off in the house, only to find local thug, Lois Montgomery, had broken in and stolen their television. The Jackson Heights PD arrived before he could make a quick get away.

After a struggle with the police, Louis was cuffed, taken to the patrol car, and driven to the Jackson Height Police Station where charges would be filed. Bryson and Amy were relieved they had invested in homeowner's insurance - it covered the cost of a replacement television.

Soon Amy came home with a big bonus after being promoted to Congessperson. This would more than pay for a college tuition for Brandon. Although, he did receive a $1000 scholarship for keeping his grades up. With this offer in front of him, he decided he was ready to make the jump to college. He told his mom and dad Good-Bye and got into the cab that was waiting to take him to his new life at Jackson Heights University.

Back at the Legacy house, Eden was ready to celebrate another birthday. She grew into a beautiful teenager with aspirations of great Fortune - her LTW was to become a Hall of Famer.
leg118.jpgleg119.jpg
Dalila had been working on her cooking skills when a small fire broke out in the kitchen. It was scary for a moment or two, but she thought quickly and was able to extinguish the fire with little damage to the kitchen.

The twins teenage years were drawing to an end. Dale managed to get $4000 in scholarships. After talking it over with their mom and dad, they decided they had aquired enough scholarship money and skills to head off to college. Dalila turned her back on the life she had known, wanting to experience more in college.
leg132.jpgleg134.jpg
Eden begged and pleaded with her mom and dad, she didn't want to go to college all by herself. The thought was just too scary! Although, Camille and Reginald did not feel she was ready yet, they allowed her to go with the twins. Dale had promised he would watch out for her, and they were only a phone call away.

After all the children had left, Camille cried softly on Reginald's shoulder - "Empty Nest Syndrome" he thought. Camille went to the bathroom to gather her composure. She was stunned when she looked in the mirror and found an old woman staring back at her. One with lines for each laugh, each tear, each pain...

Generation 2...Climbing Ladders

Across town, Bryson moved into a place of his own. He was able to find a small, furnished house within his price range - the furniture needed upgraded, but he decided that could wait. He needed to find a job so he could begin remodeling the exterior of the house. He found a job in the athletic career, which is what he always wanted! After getting settled, he decided it was time to propose to his college sweetheart, Amy. She soon moved in (bringing enough money to finish remodeling) and they were married in a quiet ceremony at home.

Amy found a job in politics and worked hard getting to know more people in the community. Camille came over frequently to visit and check out the new house, Bryson felt as if she took pride in the fact that she had been chosen to carry the family's legacy and not him - a son. He resented her for that fact. They soon had good news to share - Amy was expecting. Bryson was so excited - always talking to her belly or playing music.
leg78.jpgleg80.jpg
Amy soon gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She wanted him to have a name close to his father and grandfather, so he was named Brandon. He was a good baby and soon grew into a very curious toddler. He had his daddy's looks with his mommy's red hair.

Brandon managed to learn all three skills before his birthday. Luckily, at that time, Bryson and Amy were working opposite schedules - which allowed them time to work with him, instead of being left in the semi-capable hands of the nanny. However, after learning how to walk, Brandon began climbing out of his bed at night. (NOTE: I'd heard of this happening to others, but I'd never had it happen before - when I realized what he was doing, I had to snap this picture!)

Brandon seemed to grow up overnight! He had a birthday party with his family. Amy couldn't believe that her baby would soon be starting to school. Brandon grew up into one of the cutest kids in Jackson Heights! (Brandon's stats - Sagittarius 7,1,9,10,4)

Amy and Bryson felt that private school would provide for the best education for Brandon. They invited the headmaster over for dinner and gave him a wonderful tour of their newly-renovated home. Their efforts paid off, Bryson was accepted to Jackson Heights Academy.

Back at the Legacy house, things were not going that well. Soon after the birth of the twins, Camille returned to work. Though she and Reginald had managed to gain several promotions, she was not in a good mood after going back to work. She rejected his attempts to kiss her one night and they spent a few nights in seperate beds. The twins grew into active toddlers. They seemed to exhaust the nanny by halfway through her shift! Reginald used his days off to work with both of them - teaching them how to walk and talk.

Before long, it was birthday time for the twins. Camille through a party with friends and family. Grandpa Bradford was so proud to get to see them grow up.
leg87.jpgleg89.jpg

They each grew into cute children. Camille felt each needed new clothes and new haircuts before starting to school. (Stats: Dalila - Scorpio 7,3,10,3,2 Dale - Gemini 5,8,9,7,3)
leg91.jpgleg92.jpg

Camille and Reginald soon made up and were sleeping in the same bed again - and, she soon learned she was pregnant again. While off on maternity leave, Camille used the time to keep in touch with old friends and begin to make some new ones in town. Before long, baby Eden entered the world. Camille swore no more kids, but Reginald wanted a houseful.
LEG86.jpgleg94.jpg

Of course, being concerned parents, Camille and Reginald wanted the twins to attend private school as well. They decided to invite the headmaster over for dinner. They were confident that with their influence the twins would secure a spot at Jackson Heights Academy. That night, anything that could go wrong - did!! Reginald met the headmaster outside to chat while Camille prepared pork chops for dinner. Before they even had a chance to get to the dinner table, Grim arrived for Bradford. His time with the grandchildren was over.
leg95.jpg leg96.jpg
This threw Camille off track while cooking dinner and it got burned a little. I'm not sure if it's the meal or the conversation he was gagging over!leg97.jpg
Next, Andrea's spirit came for a visit and scared the poor headmaster. He was not too pleased and the twins were not accepted into private school. Reginald and Camille celebrated Eden's birthday after the disappointing evening - at least this would lift their spirits. Eden turned out to be a pretty little girl.

They did get one piece of good news after all that had happened ... leg108.jpg
