Changes..

The Day House

Deana made good grades through school and made a good friend with Jessica Coleman, who was dating her cousin Anderson. She spent a lot of time with her friends from school, she felt it kept her mind off of things at home - off of her mother's secret she was carrying inside.

Paul was loved by everyone in the family. He soon grew into a playful young boy, he appeared to know only the happy family he had grown up around. He was good for lots of laughs around the house! (Paul's stats - Taurus, 5/9/3/8/4)

leg346.jpgleg348.jpg

Deana pulled her mother aside for a private conversation one night after the others had gone to bed. She decided she was tired of carrying her mother's secret and she urged her mother to confess the truth. Dalilah absolutely refused..it would tear the family apart. So, Deana said she no longer wanted to wait to go to college - she called a taxi and left the house that night, never looking back.

leg345.jpg

Everyone was suprised the next morning to find that Deana had left. Dalilah made a quick explaination that she had been offered a last minute scholarship and had to go last night or she would lose the offer. They got ready that week for the twins birthday party. Arden and Ardith grew into teenagers with the help from their family and friends. They had a great party! The twins each have Family aspirations- Arden wants to marry off six children, while Ardith is looking farther ahead - she wants to have six grandchildren.

leg343.jpgleg344.jpg

Ardith got a phone call from Deana at college a few nights later - she talked for a long time alone in her room. Dalilah and Aaron were not sure exactly what took place, but after school that day, the twins announced they had enough scholarship money to go to college too. They packed up their belongings and headed off to JSU the next morning. Dalilah and Aaron took time to enjoy the relative calm in the house now and reflect on how quickly it seems the children had grown up!

Paul made good grades in school and had a few close friends he played with after school. He helped to plan a suprise party for his Mom and Dad's birthday - he called the older kids to come, but it seems they all had exams to study for. So, his party didn't go as planned, but Dalilah and Aaron were pleased just the same!

The McGee House

There were some heated arguements in the McGee house since Anderson told his parents he and Jessica wanted to move into a place of their own. Eden absolutely refused to hear of it until he had gotten himself a steady job. So, after school - Anderson started looking through the want ads. He found a job in the Medical Field, it was just an entry-level position, but he had dreams of working his way up to Chief of Staff one day.

leg387.jpgleg390.jpg

Anderson continued to go to school, but he had Jessica had made plans that only they knew about. Anderson came home one day with a big promotion from work. Now, he could finally move out with Jessica. He knew his parents were going to put up a big arguement. He didn't sleep well that night, he looked at himself in the mirror and new he could do it. He could stand up to his parents and make a happy household with Jessica. "Look at me.." he thought, "I can do anything."

leg391.jpgleg386.jpg

The next morning, Eden was off work so she slept a little later. When she got up... she was furious!! Anderson had packed his belongings and left only a note saying he was a man now and was going to make a life with Jessica. Eden was pissed! How could he be so stupid?!

leg394.jpg

Eden stayed in bed most of that day, either fuming or crying! Abel tried to comfort her, but it seemed to be of no use. He didn't even bother to tell her that it was his birthday. Before long, he had transitioned into an elder. He was still a very handsome man, but he felt like he had lost his wife. He was afraid she may not ever get over this.

leg392.jpg

The next morning, Eden came downstairs to join him for breakfast. Of course, the main topic of conversation was Anderson and if he would be able to hold down a job and keep up with a house payment and other bills that come with independence. Abel tried to convince her that they had done a good job raising Anderson and he needed a chance to try living on his own. Abel wasn't convinced she totally agreed with his position.

leg393.jpg

Eden went back to work and soon her birthday had arrived. Abel wasn't sure she wanted to celebrate with a lot of other people, she had been very outspoken about not wanting gray hair! He planned a small, quiet dinner at home with a birthday cake he had made for her. She was touched he had put so much thought into this day!

leg295.jpgleg395.jpgleg396.jpg

As the week ended, the got two pieces of good news. Eden finally got into the Hall of Fame, and Anderson suprised everyone by calling and saying he and Jessica had moved into a small house across town and had gotten married. She just hoped he could keep things right..

The Miller House

Broden soon decided he was ready for college life, he knew some of his cousins were already there and he wanted to join them. Before the taxi arrived, he said a long goodbye to his grandfather, he had a sick feeling that he may not see him again.

leg354.jpgleg355.jpg

Brandon had always loved animals. He often went outside to feed or play with some of the stray animals that roamed the streets of Jackson Heights. This little fella caught his attention with his piercing eyes.

It was already birthday time again, as Melisa grew into a young girl and was ready to start school. She was looking more like her mother as she got older. (Melisa's stats - Aries 7/9/9/10/0)

leg356.jpgleg364.jpg

Unfortunately, the birthday party was interrupted by a surprise visitor...Grimmy. It seems it was time for Bryson to join his beloved Amy. Grimmy offered him a drink for the trip. The family chipped in an bought them nice matching headstones at the Nonheir Cemetary.

leg359.jpgleg368.jpg

To help ease the hurt everyone felt after Bryson's death, the family adopted two dogs. Lulu (black) and Fah-Zhai (white) - they were so cute playing together! Broden worked with training the animals and hoped to one day mate the two.

leg362.jpg leg366.jpgleg365.jpg

After a lot of hard work, he was able to get them to mate and Lulu gave birth to two puppies, a girl who they called Cole and a boy who they named Chok. They were adorable, but left lots of little puddles around the house.

leg383.jpg

Melisa had been a quiet little girl, making good grades and reading to herself a lot. Her mother didn't seem to have a lot of time for her with her busy show business career. Melisa soon grew into a beautiful teenager with Popularity aspirations. Having animals in the house growing up influenced her lifelong dream to have 20 simulatneous pet best friends. She decided right away to leave for college and join her big brother.

leg380.jpgleg381.jpg

After all the kids had left, Broden spent a lot of time with the animals, Marlene was still busy with her career. Time had slowly crept up on them as they celebrated their birthdays together, transitioning into elderhood.

leg379.jpgleg382.jpg

Life went on for Broden and Marlene - day by day. The dogs had one more puppy, Tarr - who looked just like his brother and sister. However, they soon had to make a sad phone call to the kids at school. Grimmy had showed up again - this time for Fah-Zhai. Everyone in the family was upset. They buried him in the backyard under his favorite tree.

The Legacy House

Not a lot has happened in the Legacy House since our last update. Ferrell had started college and appeared to be adjusting well. The twins had been working hard in school and trying to gain scholarship money. Now it was time for a double birthday celebration...both Dale and Marjorie were celebrating the end of their adult years.

leg373.jpgleg370.jpgleg371.jpgleg374.jpg

Soon afterwards, Ginger and Grace said their goodbyes and headed off to college. With the house so quiet, Dale and Marjorie took time to reflect on their years together - all the laughs, but there were some tears too.

leg376.jpgleg375.jpg

Marjorie came home from work with the most exciting news! She had finally been promoted to Captain Hero. It had been her dream for a long time...now, at last, it was true!

leg369.jpg

In typical fashion of our Legacy Family, she made some bad choices at work a few days later (don't remember which chance card it was) and lost her job. As expected, she was devistated!

Jackson Heights University

All of the Generation Four children are now in college - aside from Paul, who is still not old enough and Anderson, who chose not to go. Let's take a quick look at them now...
